Peer Review Process

Peer Review Policy

Review Model: CSIJR follows a double-blind peer-review system in which author and reviewer identities remain concealed from each other.

The journal’s Peer Review Committee comprises subject experts and academicians who evaluate manuscripts before publication to improve research quality, originality and academic reliability.

Peer Review Process

  1. 1. Submission of Paper: The corresponding author submits the manuscript through the online submission system or by email.
  2. 2. Editorial Office Assessment: The manuscript is checked against author guidelines, required sections and formatting requirements.
  3. 3. Editor-in-Chief Appraisal: The Editor-in-Chief assesses suitability, originality and relevance. Unsuitable manuscripts may be declined without external review.
  4. 4. Assignment to an Associate Editor: Where applicable, an Associate Editor is assigned to manage the review process.
  5. 5. Invitation to Reviewers: Suitable subject experts are invited until the required number of reviewers accepts the assignment.
  6. 6. Response to Invitation: Reviewers consider expertise, availability and conflicts of interest before accepting or declining.
  7. 7. Conduct of Review: Reviewers critically examine the manuscript and recommend acceptance, rejection, minor revision or major revision with constructive comments.
  8. 8. Evaluation of Reviews: The handling editor considers all reports. An additional reviewer may be invited when recommendations differ substantially.
  9. 9. Communication of Decision: The editorial decision and relevant anonymous reviewer comments are sent to the author.
  10. 10. Next Steps: Accepted manuscripts proceed to production. Revised manuscripts may be returned to reviewers or assessed by the handling editor, depending on the extent of revision.
